I tried to provide pictures to show the measurements, color, and proportions with my mattress which is 10 inches thick. I love this bed and got the look I was going for. The product specific measurements were spot on. I bought this bed due to it not needing a box spring, I tend to prefer not having one, so that is a nice perk. The platform definitely does its job and seems pretty good. I love that it has Velcro to keep everything from sliding around. The bed itself is a small pain to put together but not too too bad. I will say, I included photos because while the bed is very pretty, it really doesnt look a ton like the photo on the listing. this is the second item I have ordered and doesn’t look anything like the pictures. On the thumbnail it looks very posh and lux, but its very basic in real life. Not to say it looks bad, because its still pretty, but don’t be expecting the look of the photo. I do like that the headboard is tall enough that even if you have lots of pillows, theres still room for the headboard to show. It certainly isnt the sturdiest bed lve ever had, its given me a couple of pauses so far but no actual issues. If youre a more *active* person with your bed, you may want to order some anchors for the headboard, or it may give you a scare or two ) Other than that for the money its definitely not bad.. Brenda.
