This display case for the price point is very nice. Not the most rugged case, so chose where you place it wisely. Suggest not an area that pets or children have access, because it is rather thin glass and not structurally sound. It looks nice up on a shelf or in a display cabinet. The base is fine, and the mirrored backing is a welcome addition for the application we used it for. We like it so much, we ordered a second one recently. This is pretty decent quality. Not high end for sure but perfect for my game room as a display for my statues I paint. When building it, it seems unstable and wobbly but once you put the clips in the back its very solid and stable. I recommend adding self adhesive felt to the bottom of the furniture when building it. The LEDS work well but it could use another set on the second shelves of each section so I am going to add two more strips to mine. The LEDS are also at a very bright white range so I'm replacing the existing ones with 5500k temp lights that will display the colors more correctly. Love it, only issue is the key latch is slightly misalligned. Other than that it is very nice and looks great on the wall. This exceeded my expectations. We purchased this to store and display some of the Lego’s my son has put together over the years and to brighten up our newly finished basement. It looks so cool and the motion sensing light has the added benefit of lighting the steps into the basement without needing to go upstairs to hit the switch. It is a soft enough glow to not interrupt anyone’s need for darkness, while still illuminating the steps enough eyes to adjust to the darkness and since you can set it for motion sensing, it only remains on for a few moments.
