Overall, this bed is great for a kid. The metal frame makes it super sturdy and I think it will last a long time. I read reviews and was pretty intimidated when I started building, but everything went well. I had all of the correct parts, and I found the directions clear. The bed isnt bad in and of itself but the assembly person they hired was delayed by two days so we decided to put it together ourselves. The directions were terrible, nothing was prefab- even the drawers themselves had to be assembled. Took two grown men 8 hours to put together due to the instructions being so poor.
