The frame is very sturdy, and leaves ample room under the bed for storage. I bought this because I really liked the simple design but I should have paid more attention to the dimensions instead of looking at the picture. They have to be using lumbar pillows in this picture because the frame is only 37 inches (a yard stick 1 inch) from the ground. That’s including the legs and “ample room for storage”. I have large decorative pillows that completely cover the frame. Even regular bed pillows will cover a frame if they’re leaned against it. This bed frame is great and looks to be made of nice material. The directions completely miss a few steps (putting the actual headboard piece onto the support posts), so I ended up having to undo some parts and redo them. I still couldn't get the headboard fabric piece to align exactly with the side posts. Assembly took around an hour. Also, the wrench that is provided is too big for the space the bolts are supposed to go, so it was very difficult to tighten everything properly. The bed does look exactly like the photos and the materials seem durable. I don't love that the support pieces underneath the bed are unfinished cheap wood, but that's pretty common. This bed is worth buying. Got it in the black full and white queen. Love the look and was easy to assemble. Had to request another piece because of damaged piece on the black bed. The white bed had the same piece damaged but not as noticeable as the black one so I believe they need to changed the way it is packaged to ensure the piece is not damaged.
