Got this bed for our son. All in all it’s a very nice bed. Wanted the gray one but settled for the cream color as it is 50 cheaper. The upholstery is beautiful and soft. The bed is sturdy, i just wish the slats and the feet that supports the slats were made of metal. Take note that the maximum thickness of the twin trundle mattress is 8in anything thicker won’t fit. We got a 10inch mattress for the full bed, i think an 8 or a 12inch mattress would work fine too. It took us 2hrs to assemble it. Our son loves the bed. We took a gamble in this bed as it did not have any reviews ha! In summary We are happy for this purchase.. May. Queens, NY. Sat Jun 13 2026

We love this bed! The trundle underneath is super spacious and we are able to open it up for sleepovers with brother. I’d recommend an 8in twin mattress for the trundle. We also used a bunkie board for the rope and trundle over the slats but that’s due to choice not necessity. It’s super sturdy. Anna. Lockport, IL. Mon Oct 19 2026

Anchor your main or guest bedroom in traditional style with this classic bed with a trundle. We love the prominent headboard with its inset panels and clean lines that add refined elegance. The frame is crafted from solid pine wood finished in a neutral hue, and sits on straight and slightly tapered legs that raise it almost 5” off the floor. The system of slats eliminates the need for a box spring – simply top with the standard, 5” mattress of your choice (sold separately). Best of all, the trundle is ideal for sliding out when you need an extra sleep space for overnight guests.

Bought this bed for my guest room, its sleek, made nicely, sturdy and added bonus of the trundle. Great simple frame. I would recommend. Monica. Los Gatos, CA. Sat May 09 2026

Needless to say we are very pleased with this order. At first we was worried his existing twin size wouldn’t fit underneath but it did!! I would say the twin is around 8in. None of the pieces came broken or missing like past reviews mentioned. My son slept in it before we could put sheets on it he also enjoyed building this simple project with his dad. It took me four hours by myself to put together but the instructions were ok and all the hardware was there. Construction of the wood parts was good. It's very solid and I love having the trundle option under the bed. Just remember that you need a thinner mattress for the trundle pull out than for the top bed. It was such a savings to put it together myself then to purchase one in a furniture store. I purchased the grey version which is a soft hazy color.. Melissa. Hubbardston, MA. Wed Jun 17 2026

I looked at many full bed/twin trundle beds and decided on this bed after reading many reviews and other sites with same style. This one is sturdy and not hard to put together. Unfortunately our twin mattress is an XL twin and was too large to put together the trundle. We just put the bed frame over the mattress on the floor and it works for us. The trundle can be pulled all the way out and move across the room if needed. We will save ours to use when we have to get a new twin mattress at another time.. Erinn. Meadows Place, TX. This is such a great bed! My daughter is obsessed with pink as you can tell from the pictures. It is such a fun bed for her! The lights are great and color changing. It seems to be built really nice also. Instructions were great which was so nice! The only things that I would change about this bed are putting a couple extra wheels on the trundle part to make it a little easier to put in and out and having the ability to put the headboard on the left or right end of the bed would be nice but these are not dealbreakers.. Kirsten. Fri May 15 2026

This platform bed brings clean lines and functional sleeping space to your guest room or sleeping area. It features an arched headboard with slatted detailing for a airy feel. Below, a pull-out trundle glides out easily to accommodate overnight guests without taking up extra space during the day. Built-in support slats mean you can place your mattress right on the frame, so there's no need to worry about adding a box spring.

This bed arrives in four separate packages. One of the boxes is over 80 lb and will require additional assistance to move for average homeowner. The side rails as well as footboard come fully assembled out of the box. The headboard requires the side legs to be attached but this process is very simple. The support rails for the bed are extremely flimsy and using this bed as a trundle will not allow you vertical support to stop the mattress from sagging in the middle over time. Dinged a star for that. The trundle portion comes in its own separate box of the four and requires complete assembly which is very straightforward. Two of the threaded nuts that come pre-installed were missing in the holes allowing me no way to attach screws so I had to get creative as this is something the average homeowner might struggle with. The cracked wood is my fault for not predrilling. As a bonus the side rails of the bed have the mattress supports glued prior to painting and I'm including photos of the lumps of glue which are not a big deal but nice to know that the rails are physically glued as well as screwed. The trundle face came with 2 dents but my kids will do way worse in time. I would recommend this bed as it can be used stand alone, with a trundle, with the rails lowered for easier access, and also used with an existing box spring and metal frame.. Justin. Loxahatchee.
