They are comfortable, but the only thing that I dont like is the pillow cases and fitted sheet horizontal and the flat sheet based on the top of it is vertical, my OCD-ness comes out when I make the bed. Yes, they are expensive and worth every penny! I'm not sure WHY the title has the word "Sateen" in the description. These are the same SUPERIOR brand sheets I have purchased for 12-15 years and they are 100% Egyptian Cotton and sturdy not thin like many of sateen sheets are.
