Received my 16ft awning and installed today. Looks like excellent quality and everything worked as expected. No adjustments were necessary. Very satisfied with my purchase so far. Everything from the fabric and housing quality to the ease of installation make this a great choice. Unfortunately, our primary reason for purchasing this was for privacy in the evening, as our deck opens up to community courts and gathering space. As it’s getting dark in the evening, and the lights are on in our kitchenfamily room, you can see everything in our home almost as clearly as if the shade were not in place. Also, my home is fully automated with Alexa control. I have two universal RF hubs (Bond Bridge Pro and Toyanc IRRF transmitter) for home automation, and for some reason, both accepted the programming frequency of the remote (433.92 MHz), but neither would transmit the right codes. Am I missing something? These are very inexpensive versus the large blind guys. Yes it's a bit slow but that's OK with me. There are plastic heads versus the metal ones so TBD on that. Our SunSetter awning is now installed and working perfectly. The order process, delivery and final product all met expectations. One year ago I bought a cheaper pergola from another company; it had the nylon roof you pull back with a cord, no side screens available. This mount is well made and easy to install. Only part I couldn't do myself was lifting a 75 inch TV, but that was the only step that required a buddy. The motor is very quiet.
