Really happy with this bed! The assembly was a little tricky in a few spots, and realistically I’d recommend having two people since there are certain pieces that need to be held in place while the other person attaches them. It took us about an hour to get everything assembled and moved into the room. The instructions were clear, though, and all of the pieces and hardware were included. It comes with several different-sized hex keys, but I’d definitely recommend using your own drill if you have one—it makes the process much faster and easier. Once assembled, the bed looks great. It has a very modern, sleek design, and I love the LED lighting and the built-in outlets in the headboard shelf. The LEDs come with a remote, which is a nice touch. But the absolute best feature is the under-bed storage drawers! They provide a ton of extra storage and make keeping the bedroom organized so much easier. Wayfair furniture can be hit or miss, but this is a nice headboard and frame. I chose the dark walnut color and there's no red or yellow tint to it. It's not rustic/raw wood -- there's a finish but it's not high gloss. The design feels well thought out and everything fits together well. Horizontal wood slats are held in place by strong Velcro, which makes it easy to position your mattress. The assembly diagrams made sense and with the help of two yoga blocks for leveling/stability, I didn't need a second person to assist with putting the piece together. (For reference, I definitely had a Wayfair assembler construct my six-drawer dresser -- best money ever spent -- but as a 69-year old woman, I felt comfortable doing this job on my own.). Sabrina. Love this bed! It was super easy to assemble. The side rails had hooks that slid into the head and foot boards, versus some cheaper quality beds that just use cam locks. Love that!
