As pictured. Easy to put together. Nice, firm seat but will probably need to take special care with the fabric since it seems rather thin. Great stool, although the cushion was not sewn with care and isn't really round like the photo on the website. I'm hoping Wayfair sends me a decent replacement to make this right.. Liezl. San Jose, CA. Fri Aug 28 2026

This 2-piece set features an upholstered barrel chair and a matching ottoman for a coordinated look in your space. It's crafted with an engineered wood frame and upholstered in water-resistant faux leather that features distressed grain accents. The chair's square arms and nailhead trim provide a structured, tailored silhouette, while the foam-filled cushions offer a supportive feel. Each piece rests on plastic legs that keep the profile low and grounded. Plus, the ottoman serves as a comfortable footrest or a temporary seat for guests.

I bought two of these barrel chairs for a side space in a bedroom. They were packed extremely well and assembly was limited to putting legs on the chair and ottoman. Both were considered to be sturdy and comfortable. The stitching appeared tight and the accents were solid. They are comfortable to sit in, but they are small so a larger person might want to consider that. One thing I didn’t expect was that the legs were plastic rather than wood, but they were also sturdy so it didn’t matter for our needs. Very good value for the price I paid.. Teresa. Princeton, MA.
