Sturdy door and nice quality - the weight of it makes it seem like a pricier door. It is solid but with the mdf outer- well let’s just say be careful your contractor doesn’t place it in a place with standing water. The good news is the swelling that occurs dries out but you have to let it sit for days. The other thing is the primer on it is super glossy and even after sanding isn’t the easiest to paint. I would have left it with the glossy white if not for the water damage that took the finish off the corners. Basically it’s a good door just take care in the install.. Renee. Orangeburg, NY. Really loved this door! Easy to set up and put together. This is the 36" wide x 84" tall door. Had some pretty good weight to it and was more heavy duty than I thought ( in a good way). Very smooth on the track and doesn't stick at all. We personally added more to it by staining a piece of pine and putting that up between the wall and the track to match the shelving in our room. So the board is not necessary, just was for aesthetics. Love the glass on the door so it allows the light to come through when it is shut and keeps the rooms bright vs being a solid door. I recently installed this Interior 1-Lite Frost Glass Bathroom Door, and it honestly made a bigger difference than I expected. My old door felt bulky and outdated, so switching to this one instantly made the bathroom area look cleaner and more modern. The frosted glass is probably my favorite part. It lets light pass through, which makes the space feel brighter, but still gives enough privacy. I was a little worried about that at first, but once it was up, it felt just right not too transparent, not too dark either. The door itself feels solid and well-made. It doesn’t feel flimsy when opening or closing, and the finish looks smooth and clean. I also like that it came primed, so it was easy to match it with the rest of my trim after painting. The white design is simple, but it actually works with pretty much any style. Installation took some effort, especially making sure everything lined up properly, but that’s pretty normal for doors. Once it was in place, it looked like it had always been part of the space. Overall, I’m really happy with this door. It arrived in good shape. No damage to package. The jamb was straight forward to assemble. We knew that the door would require mortising for the hinges so did not have a problem with it.
