These doors come with tempered glass for extra strength and safety. The finished opening width is suggested to be 4 in. smaller than the door width provided and the finished opening height is suggested to be 2 in smaller than the door height provided, please see the Installation Instructions provided under Info and Guides for guidance. Our double barn door unit comes with (2) 36 in. Tracks, (2) 18 in Doors Slabs.

Our office entry way is huge, 84W by 89H, so we needed the largest size door this had to offer. Pro - the doors were super easy to assemble and the material is heavy duty. Con - definitely took 2 people to assemble the rail track and lift the doors, challenging to get the rail perfectly level and studded into the wall securely, I am still slightly concerned we don't have enough reinforcement holding it up with a basic 1x6 headboard as suggested on the instructions. For the price, the door is ok. Had it come with a touch-up kit, I would have given it 4 stars. I do not care for the large bottom roller track, but after my carpenter installed it, I read through the instructions and saw there are several other options for installing the door track.. Shon. Warning: I'm a noob level door installer and this is the first (and hopefully last) ever door install. Negatives: If you're installing this on drywall/studs, you will need a headboard. It doesn't come with one. If you don't know what that is, me too. It's pretty much a board that needs to be at least as long as the railing between 4-6" wide and 1" thick which you'll probably want to paint it. This is to support the weight of the door. You'll need to buy the board and some 3"-4" screws (probably black structural ones) to screw the board into your studs. There are mentions of this in the instructions but not in much detail and I didn't notice any in the description on the site, which would have been good but probably would have not bought it. The second big negative is the railing holes are spaced so you can't screw them into the studs. You can get one, but the others are relying on the headboard to support the weight of the door. This may affect your ability to center the railing so get a decent headboard. I believe my studs are 16" apart for reference. Minor negatives include the lack of predrilled holes that guide you for the hinges. I had to do a lot of research to figure out how close together to place the door to screw the hinges in. FYI, you want it around 1/4" or less and make sure the doors are lined up. I didn't like the pull handle that comes with the door (yes it comes with it) so I'll install something else but I 3d printed a temporary one in the mean time to avoid putting holes in the door. You will have to drill into the floor to secure the fixed side. I highly recommend getting some painters tape and letting the door hang where it needs to be and outline where the piece needs to be with the tape. Gravity for the win. Positives: I think it's a beautiful door. Hardware feels heavy and very nice quality. The doors itself feel high quality. Its solid wood and the weight of all pieces (doors and hardware) are heavy which adds to the feel of quality. This is a great option for somewhat awkward size openings and limited opening spaces. I had a very difficult time finding a contractor that would recommend and install a single door for me and was ghosted by all them after seeing the opening. This is a great option even for a first time noob installer. If you're going to go for it and have limited experience, it's not impossible and the fact that I was able to do it with good results means you can too! But, take your time and think things through. This is an excellent door! Very well built, solid, and good looking. It came well-packed, and it was very easy to assemble. I got 2 of these doors for office and massage room in a salon wanted something to match the existing metal door frames with glass these doors are gorgeous took off one star because one of them arrive kinda bent my dad and my brother had to strong arm it to bend it a little back in shape and also the hardware it brings isnt great quality. We had to buy stronger screws that could hold up better than the ones sent in the box. We had to modify a floating rail to actually fit this door into the space because there wasnt any space above the door frame to put the rail but my cousin figured it out.
