The only drawback is that it cannot accommodate men’s shoe sizes in excess of 11.5, unless you turn the shoe sideways, limiting the number of pairs on that shelf to two. I love this new shoe cabinet. Prior to this new cabinet we had open shelving and our entry area looked so messy. This tucks everything away so nicely and holds a lot! It was pretty easy to put together by myself, maybe took about an hour. The hardest part was putting on the doors, balancing it while screwing the door on was a bit challenging, so another person to hold it for you would be a plus. It feels pretty osolid.
