This 2-tier small animal cage with a stylish New Zealand wood finish is perfect for rabbits, guinea pigs, ferrets, and squirrels. It features a sturdy metal frame, double-door design for easy access and cleaning, and a top enclosed locker to store pet supplies securely. Metal ramps offer non-slip, durable access between levels, while slide-out trays simplify daily care. Four 360° universal wheels (2 with locks) allow easy transport and secure placement. The embedded hammock buckle adds extra comfort, and the elegant round locks ensure safety. A spacious, functional home that blends seamlessly with your home decor while meeting your small pet’s needs.

We bought this for two rats and it's very spacious and pretty much perfect for them. Assembly was very simple and straightforward. The doors seem a bit cheap and flimsy. Not that a rat can breakout of them, but they don't align perfectly and there is a bit of "flex". Doesn't have any impact on our use case, but worth noting. The storage on the bottom is handy for extras, the wheels are nice for pulling the cage out and vacuuming under it and behind it. The look is very nice and it's not your average rodent cage. The only thing that I would add for future iterations of this cage is more hooks to the top for toys. On the top level there are 4 hooks for the hammock it comes with and nothing else, so you have to add your own and do something else. Otherwise, I'm really pleased with our purchase.. Kara. IN. Great cage for my ferret. Instructions are a bit hard to follow because none of the pieces were labeled. Only had pictures and item descriptions to go by. My shipment was also missing one of the ramp covers, it should have come with 3, but only 2 were included.. Megan. Tulsa, OK. Thu Aug 27 2026

My grandson loves his TeddyBear Hamsters new cage. The only reason we gave it 4 stars, instead of 5, is that it came with a tiny water dispenser that was poorly designed. The latch actually broke upon assembly. Luckily, we saved the one that came with the other cage.. Tonja. Spring Valley, CA. Thu Sep 05 2024

Our new white hamster cage boasts ample storage space and a chic all-white design that complements any home décor.

Update I had the hinges wrong for the lid, now it shuts. I only put the fluffy slam guard on the long edge because if they are on the short ledges it doesn’t close properly. This is beautiful! Easy to put it together- used a drill, was done in 1 hour by myself. One complaint is the lid doesn’t shut all the way, nor does it have any kind of lock. Stephanie. Waldwick, NJ. Sun Apr 12 2026

A&E Cage Co.'s HQ Cages feature high-quality construction with a strong and durable design. Each cage is finished with a non-toxic powder coating, with multiple color options available. This product line includes a variety of sizes and cage types, catering to different species of birds.

I agree with another reviewer that this cage is fantastic. It's very well built. High-quality wheels, stable, a bit bigger than the standard 30 x 30 x 30 interior cage plus 30" high rolling cart. Biggest benefit is the tight fit between the cage bars and floor of the cage -- this cage is designed so that seed can't fall between spaces at the bottom of the cage floor. Four openings for food containers, two entrance doors at the front, one higher and one lower. My birds love it. It is absolutely worth the slightly higher price.. Anonymous. Toronto. Sat Oct 03 2026

an excellent cage , very spacious easy to move around easy to assemble easy to clean love it. Eve. Jersey City, NJ. Sun Aug 16 2026

Finally, a cage my rabbit can't chew apart, unlike those cheap wooden cages! The vertical space gives my bunny something different to do on every floor so he's less bored. The only issue is the bottom tray gets urine leaking over the sides because he's a boy bunny and sprays in all kinds of directions. To clean it properly, the whole bottom needs to come apart and get sprayed down with a garden hose.. Donovan. Campbell River, BC. Sun Jun 19 2022

Our massive Universal Small Animal Home/Suburban is an ideal cage for a variety of small animal pets. Ramps and platforms add to the living space and give pets more room to play, explore and hide away, while the heavy-plastic, clip on/off base tub makes cleaning fast and easy!

Great home for an older mouse except you really have to secure the bars on top. I considered making a wire mesh topper with a wooden frame but put two of my Favolas up there instead.. Alice. Wed Feb 12 2025

Sturdy cage but had a little paint blemishes that won't affect use. A couple of hinge pins were bent so the doors don't work as well as they could. Didn't want to try to straighten them for fear of breaking them. Easy to assemble. Nice cage overall.. Edmond. Elizabeth, WV. Sat Aug 22 2026

This durable, weather-resistant hutch ensures long-lasting comfort and convenience for your rabbits, guinea pigs, or other small animal companions.

This is a great addition for small critters. I considered it for newborn kittens that I foster. Having a divider for compartments is nice, and it looks more discreet, like furniture rather than simply a cage. It looks like the picture. A bit bulky, so be sure to measure out the space and ensure that the measurements will be the size and area that you need it to be but it’s great for the intended purpose. Also took maybe 20-30 minutes to assemble.. Monique. Wake Forest, NC. Wed Oct 08 2025
