UPDATE: My cat absolutely loves this cat tree, so I’m adding stars to my review. Her opinion matters too, since she’s the one using it! The cat tree is heavy, sturdy (if against a wall and on a flat surface) and it looks good, but there are a number of major design flaws. 1) The second and third platforms are exactly the same size, so the cat can’t jump from one to the other; the cat has to jump 32” from the floor to the third platform, and repeat that when she comes down, because there is no interim step. 2) The tube is closed on one end. In my case that doesn’t work because it would’ve been nice if she could sit in there and look out the window. 3) there is no access to anywhere else from the tube except to the floor. 4) The platform below the top perch is too small for comfortable jump. You can see in my first picture how my cat has to contort herself to make the jump. She’s a year old and very athletic, but it could’ve been designed better. Unfortunately, I didn’t realize these things until I had thrown away the box, etc., but I regret purchasing this cat tree. I’m sorry to have to say that, but it’s true. Easy to put together. I just put some old cat beds on it until I can make some coordinating cushions. Within minutes all 3 cats had claimed their spots. Looks so much better than the carpeted ones. I ordered 2 of these cat trees as replacements for my tribe. At first sight, I didn’t think they were going to be the right size as the box they arrived in was small and I have large cats. Upon opening, we found the product was only meticulously packed and everything looked fine. Even though my cats seem to love their new trees, I question the durability of this product. It seems as if the boards and posts are quite thin and that concerns me. I’m not saying they are cheaply made, but I do remember having several more durable cat trees over the years. Only time and use will determine the quality of this product. The material on this tree is extremely thin and I’m sure it will meet its demise before it’s time. I hope I am mistaken and they will last for a while though. Only time will tell. The trees DO although have many levels to perch in and two large cubbies where they can hide or sleep. These cubbies are actually pretty large and my cats are very comfortable in them. The price point was great as I was able to catch them on sale. Overall, right now I’m satisfied with these and my cats seem to love them. Would I buy them again Maybe, if I could find the same brand that was built a bit more durable.. Ken. Wed Jun 24 2026

Pretty well constructed, sturdier than most cat trees. It's a nice height for a mature cat that still has strength to jump but needs some built-in safety precautions.
