The Bimini Barstool and Counter Stool draw from the British Colonial / Caribbean design tradition, a foundational influence in the Park Hill Collection design language. Their form is rooted in the late 18th- and early 19th-century exchange between British furniture makers and the West Indies, where classical English proportion met tropical influence and materials, resulting in furniture that felt both refined and relaxed. The collection’s signature Bimini bamboo-turned leg motif is a solid-wood carved interpretation of traditional bamboo forms long associated with colonial island furniture. A gently splayed stance, shapely solid wood seat, and restrained turnings create an easy, balanced silhouette, while powder-coated steel stretchers introduce a quiet contemporary note. The Bimini Barstool and Counter Stool are offered in Whitewash and Driftwood finishes paired with Khaki powder-coated stretchers, or Truffle paired with Matte Black stretchers.
