The desk features beautifully articulated Hand carvings. This functional recreation is solidly constructed, it is hand-carved and hand-finished in beautiful solid Mahogany wood for long-lasting quality. Handmade, solid real wood furniture of this type is rare in today's mass marketing world and this item will last and surely become an heirloom for future generations. The writing desk function in this size and style is popular, but the Heritage version is especially interesting with its fashionable and current hand-finishing style. The Hand finishing is an open grain wood natural seasoned finish, a finish that brings this popular antique design of yesteryear into a valuable and stylish member of today’s fashionable home trends.

French style lovers can create a romantic work-from-home solution with this exquisite desk in a soft gray finish with gold accents, a shapely apron and cabriole legs and gold medallion hardware. In an efficient 54-inch width, the desk features a center drawer with drop-front for keyboard use, 2 utility drawers with one removable writing insert and pencil tray with felt bottom for use in either drawer and 2 removable dividers in each drawer.

Wonderful desk. Absolutely gorgeous in person. I received so many compliments. Quick, free, friendly and professional assembly as well. This will be an heirloom hopefully. I try to baby it. Got it on sale and I'm very thankful. Drawers are pulling out smoothly and the wood is heavy, not recycled and cheap. Made by an American company, I'm extra thrilled about that. I was eyeing this for 1 year or so. Get it. It's worth it.. M. CA. Tue Apr 28 2026

A finished back also gives you flexibility when positioning this desk in your space

Desk was delivered quickly, easy to assemble looks great , my only concern not complaint is FedEx delivery service is horrible. I really wish they wouldn’t use FedEx , makes me think twice about ordering large items . Threw the 135 lbs box on my front lawn the 135lb box. Anonymous. US. Sat Oct 17 2026

Add a touch of vintage-inspired flair with this secretarys desk. This old world desk is perfect for small spaces with its drop down door and multiple compartments that will help you stay organized. You will be able to get school work done, sort mail or just surf the internet in style. The letter sorter can be removed to added writing/art space or it can be used to slide a keyboard in without damaging it. The two ample drawers have plenty of space to store pencils, paints or any other office accessories. Pull up a chair or stool and start letting the creativity flow.

It’s beautiful and well crafted, but a little top-heavy and wobbly. I also didn’t expect the insert to not be attached! Easy fix though to just mount it to the wall.. Rosie. Maryland. Sat Jul 11 2026

Great desk, solid wood and packaged to get here un damaged. Fairly easy to put together, BUT. Instead of screwing in all three screws on the brace, put just the center screw in so will be able to adjust it as you build. Save some headaches. Love the hidden compartment.
