WORKS WITH AN ADJUSTABLE BASE! I was so excited to find a beautiful bed frame that was compatible with my adjustable base! It’s well made, sturdy, and was fairly easy to put together. It also comes with the pieces needed to support a mattress if you don’t have an adjustable base, which is a great bonus. This standard panel bed gives your bedroom or guest room a touch of traditional style. Its open frame is crafted from wrought iron with a cherry and bronze finish. The gracefully arched head and footboard showcase scrolling floral designs that mimic the look of vintage garden gates. Fluted posts, complete with ball finials, round out the look of this bed with an extra layer of traditional charm. Plus, with 8.6" of clearance underneath, this bed leaves extra space for storage bins, spare linens, and more. A box spring is required.

I was able to put the bed together myself. The hardest part was attaching the side panels. It was much easier to attach to the headboard to the side panels (I just laid the headboard down flat and put the side rails perpendicular and put in the screws, however then to hold all that and attach to the footboard was a little struggle. I used some of the packaging material to set up a lift. I think the look is very western, Victorian and rustic. Just the look I was going for, and I really like how my quilt is visible at the end of the bed and not covered up by the footboard. Thank you Wayfair for a simple bed!!. Tina. Amarillo, TX. The bed frame is lovely. I put it together by myself in about 2.5 hours. I did add extra slats because I worried that the spacing between them would be too far apart for my mattress. The color is SLIGHTLY warmer than pictured as others have said but it’s not like WARM. It’s been study so far and we love how it looks in our room. The design of this wooden platform bed is inspired by the Bohemian style, emphasizing freedom, nature and individuality. The top profile of its wavy lines cleverly integrates the flow patterns of nature, giving the bed an elegant and eclectic beauty. This design not only conforms to the aesthetic trend of contemporary homes, but also adds a relaxed and pleasant atmosphere to the bedroom, suitable for the pursuit of individuality and nature. The overall design concept conveys a kind of respect for nature and fully reflects the core characteristics of Bohemian style. The bed is made of high-quality pine, MDF frame and plywood slats to ensure its structural stability and durability. Pine is favored for its natural texture and warm tones, which are not only beautiful, but also provide a comfortable touch. In addition, the use of MDF and plywood enhances the load-bearing capacity of the bed, making it more suitable for everyday use. The natural rattan headboard adds a touch of nature to the bed, highlighting the eco-friendly design concept and making the entire bedroom space more harmonious. The center leg design ensures the stability and high load bearing capacity of the bed. This design can effectively distribute the pressure, avoid the deformation or tilt of the bed body due to long-term use, providing good safety and stability.

The platform sits pretty far below the side edges of the bed so with a 10 inch mattress, the mattress only sticks out a couple of inches above the side rails of the bed. Definitely don’t try this bed with anything thinner than an 8 inch mattress. No. Kathryn. Asheville, NC. Sat Jul 25 2026
