French Press Coffee Stainless Steel Maker

The BIGG COFFEE FY04 French press coffee maker features a 1000 milliliter borosilicate glass carafe that holds 34 fluid ounces. The carafe is manufactured from borosilicate glass, a material that resists thermal shock and maintains structural integrity across temperature variations from freezing to boiling. The brewing system incorporates a three-layer stainless steel mesh filter integrated into the plunger mechanism. This filter assembly consists of three individual mesh screens stacked concentrically, creating progressively finer filtration stages that separate coffee grounds and tea leaves from the finished beverage. The plunger rod measures approximately 8 inches in length and operates via a vertical pressing motion through the carafe interior. The frame and handle assembly is constructed from black plastic polymer. The carafe exterior dimensions measure 8.66 inches in length, 4.33 inches in width, and 5.91 inches in height. The complete unit weighs 1.06 pounds. The product accommodates coffee grounds or loose-leaf tea, allowing full immersion contact between grounds and water throughout the brewing duration. The glass transparency allows visual monitoring of the brewing process. Manufactured in Turkey. The package includes one French press unit with integrated plunger and filter assembly.

We love our Bodum French Press. We have one for each of us. The 17oz size is perfect for the person who only wants 2 cups of coffee. The design is modern and so beautiful! I make sure to hand dry the stainless steel press so it always looks shiny. We usually wrap our presses with a clean dish cloth so it stays warm even longer. We use two tablespoons ( included is a plastic spoon) of courser ground coffee so grounds do not sift through the mesh plunger. Set your timer for 4 minutes and then push down gently on the plunger. Don’t forget to line up the little ‘arrow’ on the lid with spout. Voila!. Jasmin. Bonita Springs, FL. Wed Oct 19 2022

The Chambord French Press Coffee Maker is a true original – the classic French press coffee maker designed in the fifties. And we still produce it with the same painstaking craftsmanship we used way back when with the original. The frame, made of steel, undergoes several chrome plating processes to obtain a durable shiny surface that will last for many years of intense use. The only difference in the production process since the fifties is our commitment to the highest standards of environmentally correct manufacturing, which is especially important during the chrome plating process. The black polypropylene handle comes in a matte finish that not only gives a comfortable grip while serving but adds to the classic quality of the design. The French press system has always been the simplest and ultimate way of brewing an excellent cup of coffee.
