This 5 Piece 18/10 Stainless Steel Flatware Set, Service for 1 made of a high-quality and durable acrylic handle - looks like the mother of pearl and the highest quality of stainless steel which is beautifully connected by an antique silver-plated ring.

I do love this silverware, especially that it is a true white. The reason for the four stars is that one of the two sets I bought had scratches to it and the plastic sleeves were open on that set. After thinking about it, I wonder if that set hadn’t been used and returned. I’m waiting for some different sets to come from Horchow. If they aren’t true white, I’ll probably buy more of this from Wayfair.. Sherri. Atoka, TN. Thu Mar 17 2022

The traditional design originated in France and is renowned for its three-rivet curved handle with a bee emblem on the bolster symbolizing Napoleon and the French monarchy. These sophisticated Laguiole spreaders come nestled in a wood tray that is great for storage and gift-giving.

I have a set of Laguiole steak knives and these butter knives are the same excellent quality. Full tang (the metal runs all the way through from the tip of the blade to the base of the handle.) Beautiful detail in the metal with a small bee and vines engraved on the top. Nice heavy weight to them. Even though this set is made in China (Laguiole is the name of a French town, so the design and name are not trademark protected), the quality is high. Not sure what kind of wood the handles are made of, but I think it might be olive wood. Extremely happy with these butter knives/speaders and plan to purchase more. Would make a great hostess gift. Highly recommend.. Lia. Los Angeles, CA. Thu Jan 26 2023

I love raw oysters and was curious how these might work. I have a regular oyster shucker but it is big, heavy and bulky. This set looked attractive and to be easy for each person to use individually. But I wanted to try one set out myself first. I have not yet purchased oysters to test (not the easiest item to find fresh in Denver CO!) but I am very impressed with how the tools appear to work. You have a silicone gripper and a beautiful, double-edged knife for inserting to pry them apart. The set is quite attractive in appearance and unique, as well. It looks well made (and is beautifully packaged, too!). I like this set so much, I may just purchase more without even trying them out first!. Dyanne. Denver, CO. Sat Jul 27 2024
