The Allavino KWR248S-1BGL Wine Refrigerator with Display Shelving is a stylish freestanding unit that can hold up to 248 bottles. The KWR248S-1BGL features touch panel digital controls with a bright LED temperature and humidity display. The wide temperature range allows you to set it low enough to store white wine at serving temperature, or high enough for long term storage of red wine, depending on the needs of your collection. The external temperature display lets you view the set temperature and humidity level without having to open the door and disturb your wine. Each of the 8 hardwood shelves can support the weight of up to 30 regular size bottles stored flat, or be converted into display shelves to show off your favorite bottles. The racks can be removed or adjusted to accommodate larger bottles, so you are not limited in the types of bottles you can store. Two drawers at the bottom of the wine refrigerator allow for additional storage. Seamless black glass frame doors showcase an elegant and clean profile while also resisting visible fingerprints, and tinted LowE glass protects your wine from the harmful effects of UV light. Cool blue light beautifully illuminates the interior, making finding the perfect bottle fast and easy. The lights emit much less heat than an incandescent bulb which means they can be left on to showcase your collection without creating a harmful hot spot that could affect your wine bottles. The brightness level can be adjusted in 20% increments.

I have never been a big fan of ordering large appliances online because of the possibility of damage. However the manufacturer went above and beyond with the packaging on this unit. When it comes to wine storage, consistent temperature is everything. So far the temperature holds steady right at the set degree without it fluctuating much. This unit will hold 51 bottles of wine with its 6 wooden shelves that are also removable to accommodate larger bottles if needed. An added bonus is the led blue light that turns on when the door is open and turns off when shut. You also have the option to have it on all the time. Overall for the price it seems to be a winner.. Not what I expected. Wish the LeD light would stay on for display. Cans and bottles have a tough time standing up because of the way the shelves are. The wires for shelves are too spread out so everything falls over. I like the double door but really it’s not wide enough for it to make sense. Definitely would get wider than this one.. Lynzie.
