It's a beautiful fan! We bought two, one for our bedroom and one for a back room that does not get much air circulation. The glass dome is very pretty and filters the light nicely. Make sure you get smaller bulbs with lower watts, standard light bulbs do not fit within the dome and higher wattage bulbs (over 60w) produced rather harsh light. This stained glass fan has to be one of my favorite purchases from Wayfair. It’s beautiful, timeless, and classy, it makes me feel like I’m living an old Florida dream in the early 1900s. It is the perfect fit for my Florida Room Guest Suite. I will share that the light it gives is minimal. The space I am using it in is a naturally bright room because of the wall of windows I have. For me it is perfect and sets the right vibe. I would suggest an additional lamp or two if you like a well lit room. Package was not damaged and everything inside was in good condition. I would suggest two people for mounting and read directions well for a successful installation of this fan. The lightbulbs in the top portion of the fan will be difficult to change when the time comes, this may be my only con in regard to this fan. Included with the fan is a remote for ease of use. You can also turn on two sets of lights with the pull strings attached to the fan, one lights up just the top portion and the other lights up the main light globe on the bottom portion. Replaced a large chandelier with this fan - light. Fan was easy to assemble and fills the space with a nice rustic look. Fan provides ample airflow and has has run timer allowing you to set and forget it. I my installation it provides just enough light for the area but if you need this for bright area lighting you may need to find bright bulbs. I needed a ceiling fan that was flush-mount for my guest bedroom. This one didn't disappoint. It was surprisingly simple to hang. This ceiling fan/light is even prettier in person. The fan has 6 speeds. I used 4, E26 soft white bulbs,the smaller sized round ones. I tried larger bulbs and they were too big and scraped on the prisms.
