This could have been a wonderful 5-star review ... if only the fireplace worked. The mantel looks wonderful. I love my room with it in it. But this is supposed to be an electrical fireplace, not merely a piece of furniture. It's supposed to heat the room and to display a realistic looking flame. It did none of that when I got it. The remote doesn't work at all. And ever since it arrived, nearly a month ago, I've been trying to get someone to help me fix or replace this. After a few phone calls they promised to send a replacement for the firebox. But then I got an email saying the replacement was canceled. It turns out that was an error. I did get a package, but I had no idea what it was. No indication it came from Wayfair. It didn't look like the firebox. It was some sort of transformer/converter, with all print in Chinese, which I can't read. I finally spent an hour on the phone with a very nice lady at Wayfair, and we figured out that the transformer fixed part of the problem. I got heat! But the remote still doesn't work and I can't access most functions. And if I turn the heat on, I need to burn my fingers to turn it off on the fireplace without the remote. So I'm waiting for a new remote. To be continued ..... Monica. Cambria, CA. Sat Jan 31 2026

Everything came packaged decently with no damage. This was a very complex piece to put together, but it turned out very nice. The measurements given in the listing are a few inches off (it's slightly taller and wider than stated), but it suits my space. Overall, I like it quite a bit, but I wouldn't pay full price for it.. 5 stars. I removed a cast iron fireplace, bought a vintage mcm one, and couldn’t have it installed due to code. Went with an electric and purchased the mantel after seeing pics using the same way. Home isn't measured in square feet—it's measured in heartbeats. Our vintage-inspired fireplace table captures the warmth of yesterday and brings it right into your living room today. Desktop piece is shaped from solid cedar, it's fragrant grain sanded silky-smooth yet left rugged enough to tell a story. A proprietary multi-layer distressing process hand-rubs every edge, carving in the kind of character you can't fake: sun-bleached highs, soot-soft lows, and time-worn charm that feels like it's been part of the family for generations. Floral scrollwork dances across the façade, cut by artisans who still believe furniture should be poetry you can touch. Park a mug of cocoa on it, stack your favorite novels beneath it, or simply let it glow beside the couch—this is more than furniture, it's a daily reminder that comfort, creativity, and freedom never go out of style.

This fireplace features a high quality solid wood frame with a sturdy texture. Solid craftsmanship creates a solid and cozy tone for your home.

The fireplace is lovely. Perhaps I should have gone with the white in my space but it looks good nonetheless. I wish there was a crackling fire sound effect included for this price point. I’ll have to come up with my own system. It’s solid, my 20lb cat jumps to the mantle without shaking it. Last point the metal grille is painted to look “antiqued”. It makes it look a bit plastic, but it’s the details in the wood surround that really make the fireplace.. Ja. Seattle. Tue Mar 17 2026
