These stools are nicer in person. I was hesitant about the limed grey oak. In the picture, the limed stools look very distressed and antiqued but they are just right. I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in. These chairs were the worst thing in the world to put together the holes didn’t align or legs properly. The only reason I was able to get these all put together is because my dad drilled larger holes in like all of the legs. These wasn’t a single chair that’s legs aligned well.
