I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in. These stools are nicer in person. I was hesitant about the limed grey oak. In the picture, the limed stools look very distressed and antiqued but they are just right. They are light enough to move without effort but made well enough to hold up to everyday use. I do hope the seats hold up for a long time. They look great with my newly updated kitchen.
