This fireplace has been such a wonderful addition to my home. I am disabled was able to do the very small amount of “installation” required by myself -one has to screw the legs onto the unit. As the unit itself is lightweight, all is provided, instructions are simple clear, this was a simple, very doable task. I use this fireplace every day. It adds a lovely ambiance to my living room that everyone comments on enjoys. Love these. I have three they are not sturdy and the material is cheap Chinese bent fender. Not one of them aligns correctly and there is a whole song and dance to make the doors close. However once done it ignites easy and gives a lot of heat and a nice flame that can be seen on three sides. I am really happy with the look of the fireplace mantel and insert. The title suggests its solid wood and Id agree that parts are. However, the top was chipped and was not solid wood underneath.
