It’s more of a creamy yellow white vs a bright white - not a dealbreaker for me although I maybe would’ve chosen black had I seen the actual color. You can have the fire and flame on without the heat, which is nice for aesthetics. The heat function works quickly and would be sure to heat up a room to comfortability. I do think it runs constantly vs reaching a certain temperature and turning off like a thermostat. It does have a safety feature that will turn off the heater if it overheats.. Sayde. Tulsa, OK. Absolutely adorable fireplace! I wanted an electric fireplace but the mantel box styles are too big and clunky. This is much more charming! I did not to permanently affix the stack plate to the wall so that I have the freedom to move it and store in another room it during summer months or add decoration on top. Puts out a great amount of heat too which was my primary reason for purchase as we needed some form of auxiliary heat. As far as faux flames go this truly is beautiful and doesnt give off "faux" or "cheap" whatsoever! BUY IT!. Ryanne. Yorktown, VA. Thu Oct 22 2026
