Seems pretty sturdy. Assembly took 2 hours because of the amount of screws. I was able to assemble by myself, but there were a couple of moments where it was a balancing act and I could have used an extra set of hands. It was hard to tell from the photos, but the white one has a faux leather material on the front of the fabric drawers, which is nice. It arrived quickly and wasn't missing any pieces. This clothing rack is good but it is very light overall. I did not attach it to the wall. I would recommend that you anchor it with heavier items on the bottom racks. You can build it on your own but recommend 2 people to put it together. You also need a small screwdriver for the very last assembly piece for the metal cross-bar poles (attached in the back after you stack the bottom and top shelfs together). Screwdriver not included with packaging but does come with everything else, including the L-shaped hex key. This was not hard to put together. It seems a bit flimsy but we tightened it enough so I can confidently say it will hold coats. The drawers pull up which I like for shoes.
