This is a great oversized, fold out arm chair. It is comfortable to sit in, and the bed (I ordered the upgraded mattress option) is comfortable enough that my 9 year old often chooses it over a standard bedmattress. My one disappointment is the fabric and sewing is low quality. I will eventually have it recovered in a performance fabric and having piping added. UPDATE the center leg kept bending sideways and the couch would fall down! Today the leg completely broke off. It’s just me in the home with the dog and we are gentle. Very disappointed!! Need new couch. Delivery day I wanted to love this couch, and there are things I really do like about it—but unfortunately, the negatives were hard to overlook. First off, the screws around the frame were difficult to get in because the foam was too thick and the screws wouldn’t catch the threads properly. It took much longer than it should have, and I had to redo sections multiple times. To make matters worse, the included Allen key stripped after just a couple of screws and didn’t fit the bolts properly. If you’re putting it together, definitely use your own tools. One of the most frustrating parts was the seat slats. You can’t get them in unless you loosen up the frame again after you’ve already secured it—which feels like going backwards and risks everything slipping out of place. Now that it’s assembled, I’ve been trying to enjoy it. The beige color is absolutely gorgeous—a warm, slightly speckled tone that fits beautifully with my decor. That’s definitely a highlight. Another major plus the entire couch is washable, which is rare and incredibly practical. That feature is probably the biggest trade-off for the comfort issues. Speaking of comfort—the seat cushions are very firm and slope down toward the center, so if you’re not sitting dead center, it can feel awkward. I’m hoping they loosen up over time, but for now, they’re not great for lounging. The back cushions are soft but under-filled, and the back itself is quite low—not nearly as supportive as it looks in the pictures. I’m planning to add throw pillows (maybe even a fluffy seat topper) to make it more livable. Overall, it’s a beautiful-looking couch with some thoughtful features like the washable covers, but the comfort and assembly left a lot to be desired. We needed the biggest sofa sleeper we could get for a very narrow room and this one worked with our measurements. I was a bit nervous ordering it without trying it first but am really happy with it! As a sofa, it is super sink-in comfy. We haven't slept on the sleeper yet but we did try it out and it seems great. We didn't realize until it arrived but the sleeper is meant to slept on between the sofa arms, rather than from the back out, like traditional sofa sleepers. Regardless, we did have a sense going in that this won't be great for our taller guests but it still works for us. We ordered this in Dorset Cherry Performance Chenille and we love it. Great quality, easy to pull out the sleeper. A little higher seat than your average sofa, which is great for my tall family.
