This is a beautiful piece of office furniture. Looks very good. Took about 3 hours to put together. If you are not good with reading instructions fully get help. It's somewhat strong, but I would only use it for hanging file folders. The bottoms of the draws are made with some sort of hardboard and the weight is not sufficient to hold much of anything else in my opinion. They are just slid into slots on the bottom. I received the cabinet the day after the order was placed. item was well-packaged and undamaged, with all pieces enclosed. It took two people to assemble it. However, the instructions left a lot to be desired; a video would be more helpful - we actually found one online posted by another vendor and used it to confirm our setup. Due to space limitations, the cabinet is sitting in my L/R next to a large traditional piece of cherry wood furniture - and it actually blends in nicely. bought this under the impression that it's a filing cabinet as stated in the description, but it doesn't have the ability to file any files. it's simply a dresser. however, my boyfriend assembled it using wood glue, so we're not able to disassemble and return. therefore, we're keeping it because it's actually really nice and looks great in my office. I can store office supplies in there, no problem. it's very sturdy and elegant looking. I've decided to forgo the filing cabinet I originally wanted and will be using this instead. Ordered 2 at once. One arrived from New Jersey (?) in perfect condition, but the second shipped from TX never arrived. Customer service has been perfectly helpful for all FIVE (?) calls. A replacement (from TX) was ordered and arrived not boxed with corner protectors/top and bottom cardboard pieces completely damaged and unusable. A second replacement came (from TX) and arrived in even worse condition (both tops had screws missing and screw holes stripped so won't stay on with screws provided, cracks on all sides, dents, etc.). Arrived in perfect condition like the first did. Customer service could not be better, but I'd call to order this piece with customer service and beg that it comes NOT from Texas. Wayfair is very good in keeping one informed of the ship date and ship time. The day of the delivery I received a text that the drivers were approx. 30 min out. Both wore their face masks and were very conscientious about safe distance. They placed the filing cabinet where I asked it to be placed. It is now sitting at its spot and is looking good. I did not expect much from this file cabinet as I was unboxing the pieces and separating them. The particle board is a lower grade, and the instructions were very poorly written. As the project progressed to the finished product, I was more than pleasantly surprised and pleased. It turned out that this is a very nice 2-drawer file cabinet that definitely serves the purpose. The wood grain veneer is very nice looking and the stay-closed file drawer slides are a bonus. It comes with heavy duty plastic file dividers and guides.
