This is a great futon style mattress. The frame is not included and I did not buy a frame for it but it comes with the slots so a frame can easily slide through the cover. I bought it soecifi to slide u set the bed and pull out for when my daughter had sleep overs so her friends can sleep on it and it works perfect for that. I recently had to use it to when we had family stay in town. I like that it fits my fitted sheets and it’s pretty comfortable to sleep. My daughter likes that she can use it as a couch in her room. The mattress does appear to be more comfortable than the one that was being used by our toddler. We had one that used springs and was completely covered with plastic which I did not love. This mattress does not have inner springs, it is made of sponge, the dual-sided makes it suitable for infants and for toddlers by simply flipping the mattress from one side to the other. I do like that this mattress has a fabric cover which makes it less noisy that the one we had, but I’m afraid it will have to be washed so many times with a toddler that has learned how to take his PJs off including his diaper. The mattress cover does have a large zipper for removing which should make it simple enough for washing. There’s a label to indicate the side to be used for toddler vs infant but I’m still not sure which side is which. I took a best guess and seems to be working just fine. Another thing that is not great is that there is no cover to the mattress itself. Once the outer cover is removed there’s nothing over the sponge mattress, you’re left with the bare sponge; not a big deal, I was just caught off guard as I was expecting something over the sponge mattress and then the cover over that. Overall, it seems to be good crib mattress, and I hope it is more comfortable for my toddler. He does seem to sleep a bit better than before, but he can’t let us know yet.. Claudia. Hartland, WI. Comfortable and exactly what I was looking for. I was able to trim the size of the mattress to fit the slightly odd size of the bed space in my camper and the cover hides the adjustment. Not quite as comfortable as a regular mattress, but it's fine to sleep on. Much easier to move around and store than a regular mattress, though. I like the two sides suited for summer/winter. Very nice folding mat (bed). I purchased the twin size. Good quality and the design and color are very nice. It’s cozy and not too firm. Has a nice softness to it but not too soft.
