This crafting table is on casters that lock/unlock which makes it easy to move without scratching the new floors but also stationary when needed. The sewing machine, cutting & pinning tools will fit on the shelves which are great for storage purposes and easy accessibility. This sewing table can be easily folded to 12" W and fits into a tight spot for storage. This folding table can not only be used for cutting fabric/designing patterns or as an extra workspace for craft projects but also can be used as a computer desk in the living room or dining room. Its so Compact and it comes with a wall hanger so you can put it in your utility closet and no one has to see it and it takes up far less space Works fine on a work surface like a table I do suggest putting something underneath each end just so it wont slide. This cabinet is awesome!! Unfortunately my sewing machine with the dust cover doesnt fit on the under side shelf but Ive got in its carrier bag and that fits on top just fine. Assembly was super easy, took about 40 minutes total. Just wish the three shelves on the swing out door were able to hold more weight, but perfect for threads and parts for my machine.. Lisa.
