I agree with other reviewers that this isn't the most expensive looking thing I could've bought, but it definitely met my expectations. It does smell like paint and is a little rough to the touch, but it's evenly painted. It's very sturdy/heavy which is great because I'm planning to use it outdoors and was worried about wind.
