I just received them, but they seem very sturdy and they were packed fairly well. The color of the wood is more honey-stained than the photos would indicate. And I’m not crazy about the look of the actual pads that the legs rest on. Look closely before purchasing, because that may effect your decision. I have been looking for bistro chairs for at least two years. I needed 8 chairs so I needed to keep the cost down per chair but I wanted them to "look" more expensive. The wood and shape had to be the right color and style. Also, I wanted the weave not to be a big checkerboard pattern which to me looks a bit cheap. This chair is perfect. I love the tight weave, the wood color and the chair's style , which makes it look like look like a much more expensive chair. And it is comfortable to sit in.
