I purchased two of these storage units a few years ago, and they’ve been surprisingly versatile! We originally used both in our playroom to store kids’ toys. After moving last year and as the kids have gotten older, I repurposed one for our laundry room to store cleaning supplies, pool towels, and other household essentials. Since I still have a toddler, I added a childproof lock to keep cleaning products safely out of reach. There’s plenty of storage space, and we typically keep a small step stool on the bottom shelf as well. The second unit is in our basement and is used for miscellaneous household storage. I love that the shelves are adjustable, making it easy to customize the space for different items as our needs change. One thing to note is that we did encounter a few imperfections during assembly, so I wouldn’t recommend these if you’re planning a perfectly seamless, custom built-in look. However, for everyday storage, they’re attractive, functional, and hold a ton of stuff. I’ve been happy with how easily we’ve been able to repurpose them throughout our home over the years!. Mandy. Works very well for what I need. Definitely heavy-duty where I build is where it will stay. A lot of work to put together. The description should note that the top is 4 separate pieces. I thought it was one piece—so there are lines where the end pieces and two middle boards meet. Also need more of the brown stick ons to hide the cam locs that face the back.
