This is a very nice set of hammock camping chairs. I plan to use these both for camping and for outdoor contexts. There's nothing to put together other than what you have to put together every time you set the chairs up. Each one comes in three pieces: the frame, which pops open easily; the chair itself, which you just pop onto the frame; and the footrest. It does take some adjusting to get the footrest at the right height on the chair, so you're not leaning back too far, but it's easy enough to do. It feels very sturdy. I'm a big guy, and I felt like it held me with no problem. Like all of these chairs, it's kind of difficult to get it back into the bag, though, but that's a pretty common problem. I got this as a gift to myself for my birthday and I was so excited, only to be disappointed. Two issue were my own fault I guess for not laying out a measure tape....but this is SMALL. I am 5'4" and my feet go off the end. Also, it's VERY LOW to the ground, so beware. It is not a lounger or chair, but really a mini "cot." But the part that was not my fault - the images are super deceiving when they show a nice comfy looking pad. In real life, it is super thin, not nice looking, and you can feel the hard bottom/bars.
