Super happy with these chairs. Easy to put together and very comfortable. They are slightly lighter than a navy blue, more of a nautical blue. They go very well with our pool, which is what I was hoping for. We have a few Pollywood chairs, so comparing them, they are not as large, and not as thick material. But for the price that we paid, I am extremely happy with them. They are very good quality and seem to be very sturdy. Like other HDPE products, they do get warm in direct sunlight. This is a heavy, well-made chair. The poly boards feel thick, the frame does not flex, and it sits firmly once it is together. The recline is comfortable and the seat is generous. It is also much larger than I expected from the listing photos, so measure your space before you buy. I have assembled several of these poly Adirondack-style chairs. These were the worst instructions I have used. You essentially get four low-quality drawings. I had to figure most of it out myself. The one useful part is that you can usually tell which screws belong on each step. If you have put a lot of these together, you will get through it. If this is your first one, expect some frustration. I am docking a star for the hardware finish. Some screw heads are recessed many are not. The leftover silver screws stand out against the navy boards. Recessing the rest and adding caps, or using paintedcolor-matched screws, would be a cheap fix and would make the chair look finished instead of half-assembled. I got tired of chasing down my cheap chairs after every storm so I got these 3 years ago. They are heavy enough not to blow away but still light enough to move around. And they fold away when needed. Took less than an hour to get both assembled by myself, although the locking nuts for some of the bolts are a bit of a pain to get on (built in triangular metal ring vs something like injected nylon), but other than that, pretty straight forward. They feel sturdy when deployed and fold up reasonably compact, although there's nothing to keep it in folded mode for easy carrying Maybe a couple straps will help. Best part is how comfortable they are and the ability to recline and deploy the fold away foot rest! These chairs look great and seem very sturdy. They even have drink holders! It took about an hour to put them together, but very easy. I replaced natural wood chairs with these.. Katheryn. Wed Jun 24 2026
