Putting this together was no joke. That and the inaccurate measurements (see below) are my reasons for taking off a star. I was able to put it together alone but it took 3 days, and a lot of sore muscles, and really should have just asked for help. You ABSOLUTELY need a drill at minimum. The measurements are also off. It is 65” and a hair wide, and at full extension, the bed FRAME alone extends out 88” from the wall and the legs add an additional 2-3”. If you are putting this in a tight space as I was, be sure to note these measurements. The overall quality is however pretty high, especially for the price when I compare to the 3-4k beds I was looking at on other sites. Worked well for our studio vacation rental, where people occasionally don't read the description and don't realize it only offers one queen bed until they walk in! We had to flip the footboard to where we were putting the headboard to make the holes match - so before you panic, try that! This turned out to be a great purchase and exactly what I needed. It was quick and easy to assemble, and the mattress is truly 5 inches with good-quality memory foam-my Pops says it’s very comfortable and said he doesn't need a mattress topper. It’s easy to open at night and store in the morning, rolls smoothly without scratching my floors, feels sturdy with the wheels locked, and fits perfectly in my small living room closet. I’m very pleased with the quality. For extra peace of mind, I did purchase a thin rubber floor runner to roll it on when moving it to and from the closet, and I added quarter-size felt pads under the legs for additional floor protection. This chair is perfect for our place! Living in NYC takes some creativity for maximizing space. We needed something that was versatile due to limited space, aesthetically pleasing, complimentary to our genuine leather sofa, in this price point and this chair delivered. The different seating modes of this piece are perfect for when my husband and I both want to lounge out. Changing between the different positions is so easy and takes seconds. I like that the quilted detail is on the inside as well as the outside. I've seen some of these convertible chairs only have stitching details on one side which looks cheap when they're folded out. The faux leather seems high quality too. The backside of the leather is even faux suede which is an extra diligent design detail. When placed next to our real sofa it's very convincing even with the tell tale high shine of the faux leather. The assembly was fool-proof and fast, and detailed instructions are included. I put this together by myself in 10-20 minutes. The faux leather can be removed from the pillow and the seat for easy cleaning but I imagine most cleaning will be an easy wipe. The pillow and chair have zipper closures and the arm covers have velcro. When the chair is fully extended, there are hidden feet that pop out from inside of the zippers on the backside, providing more support. It comes with felt furniture pads already in place, which was a nice surprise since I recently ran out. Now for some critiques, none of which are significant enough to deduct any stars in my opinion. The softness when folded out might be an issue for some people as it's quite firm. It's softer in the chair position but once it's folded out the backside is firmer. So I'm not sure it would be comfortable for some adults for sleeping on, but great for lounging. The arms come partially manufactured and the wood screws that attach the metal to the wood are set wonky and seem like the wrong size possibly. Finally and the most petty criticism of all, the 2 covers for the arms are exactly the same so one side inevitably has the velcro exposure facing out, not in. It looks so great in my guest bedroom. I needed something that was compact since its a small room and not used often for guest, but mainly for me to craft in. All in all it took me about 4 hours to put together by myself. All the parts were there. With a few extra that had me second guessing if I put it to together correctly. Its pretty simple and the picture instructions do help. The storage drawer is nice to hold blankets and pillows. I bought a 6 memory foam mattress. Once folded up and the doors closed it looks like there is a few extra inches to maybe fit a bigger one Not entirely sure. Definitely a gamble to take if you decide to go bigger.
