I think I viewed a thousand different enclosed ceiling fans with lights until I found the one I liked. It needed to be as low profile as possible since it’s going above a loft bed, and not look cheap. Also a dimmer/different settings. The RGB light option is a bonus. I like that the plastic grill on this one has straight lines, it looks more expensive in my opinion. Installation was ok, the plug for the remote housing kept coming off and getting the lamp screwed into the mounting was manageable for me with smaller hands, but may be difficult for larger hands due to the low profile nature of the unit.. The ceiling fan came very well packaged. It is in a lot of pieces though and would have to be assembled before it could be installed by an electrician. The fan blades feel like cheap plastic, however, the rest of it is solid metal. Everything that you need for this is in the box with the van. It looks nice. I got the Walnut blades with Black/Natural Fan Body finish. It's such a beautiful unique fan and blows air really well. Has the 3 advertised light modes, although the first two cooler options are pretty similar, and the 'warmest' isn't that warm (my pic shows the warmest option). I had an electrician install it, so I can't speak to the ease of install. My biggest gripe right now is it's a bit wobbly and loud once you get to levels 4-6, but the manual does come with some tips to balance it out, which I'll need to try soon.. Erica. Atlanta, GA. This fan looks fantastic! My husband installed it - a few issues with getting the light level, so that the blades did not rub the light - but nothing he couldn't handle. It was worth the small inconvenience. The fan is almost silent and moves a lot of air. The light is wonderful - dimmable feature works great. The remote worked immediately and perfectly.
