Put this together by myself with just a traditional phillips head screwdriver so it took about 3 hours. Be very careful between step 4 and 5 of setup when rotating the pieces. With how heavy Pieces 2, 3, 4 are and being connected with just part 5. It is very prone to splitting around the connction site if you are not careful. I do suggest for this step having another person to help you move it. However if it splits a bit it is not the end of the world because step 10 reinforces all these connections and helps to strengthen and bring back together those spots!! Once all put together it’s plenty strong large enough. I did buy two of these as his hers dressers for my husband and i. However i am way too tired to put together the second one now after completing the first one, so don’t be stubborn like me let your husband help. Your wrists will thank you later!. Kelseyxleigh. Overall it’s a beautiful dresser. However, the finish is of an uneven texture. Running my hand along the surface, the finish goes from silky smooth to rough, as though that side was not sanded properly prior to painting. It’s noticeable enough that I’ve opted to have a glass top made. One of the drawers has cracks on the bottom, necessitating drawer paper to camouflage.
