So the picture of this shows a dark, tarnish-colored product. I was surprised when I received it in the mail to discover it was actually a bright, polished silver color. The finish is matte, so it's not reflective metal or anything, but definitely is polished silver in color. It also has an orange light around the button itself which I don't think was disclosed in the description. Overall, I like the way it looks, but definitely wasn't the product I thought I was buying. This doorbell was a lifesaver. Old, cloth wiring to our charming antique doorbell with a Westminister tune was no longer reliable and running new wires through a rock wall an impossible DYI task. Installation was super easy and the best surprise was that the default of the different chimes options is no other than a pleasant Westminister chime!
