She is inspired by all of nature's gifts found in the Historic Colonial Williamsburg Gardens and painted to look like stitched embroidery. It has a hatching on the yellow that is closer together than the pattern on the dinner plate so it does not appear the same shade of yellow. it thus gives the appearence of a reddish yellow because of the hatching..
