It came in six boxes and building it was a bit of a daunting task, but it was definitely worth it! It looks great and has made the room feel so much more organized. I was a bit overwhelmed by all of the boxes, so in case anyone else has a bit of building anxiety - they are two separate cabinet units that you can then latch together so the process can be done in parts if you do not have a full day to dedicate to putting it together. There were two sets of three boxes: one that was 1 of 2; one that was 2 of 2; and one that was unlabeled. You can build a functional cabinet set with a 1 of 2 and 2 of 2. The unlabeled box was the smaller top cabinets for that particular set! Also, my electric screwdriver proved to be worth every penny in putting this together. I really like this dresser and think it’s a nice piece for the price. I gave it 4 stars because several of the pieces had minor damage when they arrived. Since everything was packaged very well, I assume the damage occurred before it was packed. I’ve included as many photos as I was able to upload of the damaged pieces for reference. Fortunately, once the dresser was assembled, the minor damage was not visible at all. There were quite a few pieces to assemble, so it took a while, but the instructions were very clear and easy to follow. Once assembled, it looks beautiful and is exactly what I was hoping for. Both the directions and holes predrilled were fairly easy to assemble. Due to the size it came in 3 sections but once the first was assembled it went much faster. We are pleased with armoire as far as the way it looks but the lack of the 5th star in the rating was simply due to the material in the outer pieces. Well this piece I think was package pretty well FedEx couldnt damage it which is good thing. My opinion the overall quality of the material used was not of the best that could have been used probably in my opinion but the veneer on it is very thin. Not a fan of the camlock system thats used to hold it together it just leaves unsightly the locks and everything inside the drugs and stuff its just to me it doesnt look very good but overall if its someone needs something its not a bad piece to have..
