Bright light with a compact design. The base is a nice warm gold tone. For me it’s limiting because the only way to turn it on is via the button on the wire at the base but where I have to plug it in the button is under other furniture. Decent lamp for the price point (bought on sale). The height works for our tall ceilings and I like that the arch isn’t super wide like many similar styles. But I take off a point for the color. Online it looks like a true, light gold. In person it’s a lot more brassy and the color makes it look a bit cheaper than it would otherwise. Overall it works for now and would’ve been a 5 if the color was true gold. This lamp was relatively easy to assemble with 3 parts which all screw together. The only complexity was removal the protective plastic around the product and managing the cord which ran through the center of each part. While one person could easily assemble this, it was helpful to have second person prop up the parts while being screwed together. The results speak for themselves. The lowest hanging of the 5 lights rests at about 5’3” and the highest at 6’2” as described. The light is a natural warm color which plays well against neutral tones instead of washing them out. We have a large patio that is somewhat L-shaped. We have a large fan and light in the main area, which is where we have a couch, chairs, and metal table in front of the couch. I have a bistro table and four stools in a section of the patio, but there is no lighting in that area, just an overhead fan. We love, especially in the Fall during football season, to sit out side. We also love to entertain and one of our favorite things is to have friends over and grill steaks or hamburgers. As it gets dark earlier in the Fall, the area near the table on the back porch gets no light. I had thought about having a light kit installed on the fan, but someone mentioned that I should get a lamp. I didn’t know if I would like having a lamp outside, but I began to look on Wayfair and actually saw some industrial type lamps that I really liked. The colors on this lamp look so good with our table and chairs. They also blend in with our couch and chairs. It produces a great amount of light and I can also move it over closer to the table if I need to. I love how it looks on the back porch and would not hesitate to recommend this lamp.
