We bought an 85" TV and wanted this 70.8" wide, Light Oak, floating tv console to hide cords and other small electronics inside the cabinet for a clean look. The back has a wooden panel so we used a saw and cut out an opening where our outlets are on the wall. It is very heavy, so make sure you have something to hold it up on while you drill into the studs in the wall. Installation takes a while and I would definitely recommend 2 people. Easy to assemble and the overall design looks great. It would have been helpful if they had included a template or mounting guide to make attaching it to the wall easier. The template would have made it much easier to mark the exact locations for the screws and ensure everything was level. The item is very heavy. It is compressed laminated wood. It took about an hour to put it together. The most challenging part was adjusting the hinges on the doors. There was no directions on how to do this. Thank goodness for YouTube! Originally the doors wouldn’t shut and we’re not even but after adjustment, they all work great.
