This is a solidly built and handsome piece of furniture—it looks good on the wall and best of all for us, it has a space below that is tall enough to allow a good number of books to be arranged, upright and spine out. By the same token, make sure you have the room for it because as floating nightstands go, they are on the larger size (to accommodate all those books, natch). The height of the unit is 17 inches, which is much taller than most other such pieces. We have a tall storage bed that puts the top of the mattress at 33 inches off the floor, which is the perfect height for these nightstands (though it does mean having to vault into bed at night and rappel down in the morning!). Cute little shelf. I added some glide tape since the drawer doesn’t have any glides or rails that keep it in place and wanted to prevent wood to wood contact. It is nicely finished. A little hard to mount using both the hangers and the holes that go through the back, and the reason for four stars, but we made it work and it is stable for adding a little weight.. Angela. Handy little shelf for a tight spot! I really like the look of this shelf, and it’s very functional. I have a small space, with one nightstand on one side of a queen bed that really needed a nightstand on the other side. However, I just didn’t have the space. This little table allows for a space to place a phone or a glass of water. It’s nice looking and well made. Installation was easy, but I don’t feel like the screws go far enough into the wall for it to be very sturdy. I do have hollow walls, so I’m going to have to change the screws to make it more ssecure. I placed some items on it for the picture, and when I did the shelf came out from the wall a bit.. Sandra. 1.First of all, these warning stickers were next to impossible to remove! Not everybody has small kids or would let them climb on furniture! Took forever to get them cleaned and scraped off with plastic razor knife. Used Goo Gone to get sticky off. 2.Wear a leather glove to prevent blisters since you’re supposed to hand screw all hardware in!!! 3.Very impressed by the engineering and design of this and the way the puzzle pieces fit together so perfectly and tightly. Great design!!!!! 4.Don’t get overwhelmed by the amount of pieces and steps, it actually comes together quite simply if you don’t freak out! 5.Love these trippy awesome pieces! I added a huge acrylic “leg” I stole off another item I had to help support the front and just look cool since this item (s) is for my art room. 6.Drawers are very hard to shove in at first, but keep pushing, the hardware has to work the lubricant into the parts. 7.OVERALL this thing is amazing in its design! I’m in total LOVE with it. Will hang it tomorrow and build the 2nd one and put it up. I plan to stack them so bottom one might not get its cord, but I’ll figure that out later. I’ll add more pics after it’s on the wall. SUPER COOL STYLEdesignengineering on this item! I’m blown away, by the way, single 73 yr old female with my own tools here, so if I can do it you can!
