Our USA-made contemporary mantels are made for customers who are looking for a clean and simple look. With no signs of distress, this mantel will make your space look perfectly modern. This is a handcrafted hollow fireplace mantel. Our mantels are hand-made with love and passion. These mantels are as beautiful as they are useful, robust, light, and elegant. The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our Contemporary mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

Overall, this is a nice shelf. I am using it as a console ledge near the front entry. The tone is a bit warmer than I would like and than what the pictures show. The way the instructions have you hang it leaves screw hole plugs on the top which ruins the look so instead, I hung the ledger board and then attached the shelf with construction adhesive and finish nails.. Butcher block is manufactured under strict EU standards and derived, from solid blocks of finger-jointed and edge-glued birch staves. The wood is unfinished, so you can customize it with an oil finish or stain color to match your décor. Natural wood tones and a soft grain pattern give a simple but stylish feel to your kitchen, bar, den, or craft room. The allure of a pure wood product is that no two grain patterns, textures or colors are identical. Wood is affected by soil contents, climate, growth patterns and many other factors. These wonderfully unique features will ensure a one of a kind look for your remodel.

Beautiful! Love being able to stain custom cut to desired size. They are quite heavy need to be installed in studs or with adequate anchors.. Tina. Red Rock, TX. Thu Mar 12 2026
