Floating Console Shelf

Our USA-made contemporary mantels are made for customers who are looking for a clean and simple look. With no signs of distress, this mantel will make your space look perfectly modern. This is a handcrafted hollow fireplace mantel. Our mantels are hand-made with love and passion. These mantels are as beautiful as they are useful, robust, light, and elegant. The distressed look is achieved by hand with attention to detail. As a result, no two beams are the same and your beam will be one-of-a-kind. Dimensions may vary slightly from selected, due to the nature of the wood and the time effect on it. We use pine boards for our Contemporary mantels. The final product might appear a bit lighter or darker because of the lighting and nature of the wood.

Overall, this is a nice shelf. I am using it as a console ledge near the front entry. The tone is a bit warmer than I would like and than what the pictures show. The way the instructions have you hang it leaves screw hole plugs on the top which ruins the look so instead, I hung the ledger board and then attached the shelf with construction adhesive and finish nails.. Love it! Looks just as pictured. Took a way one star as it was rather challenging to install. The bolts that prevent it from sliding away from the wall did not line up. So they unfortunately stick out a bit. If I attempted to screw them flush it would have cracked the stand! Lovely stand though.. Ambriehl. Richardson, TX. Wed Aug 19 2026
