We really love the look of this concrete bench—it's a beautiful, modern piece that fits perfectly with our style. Although it was advertised as an outdoor bench, the product arrived with a note advising against exposure to direct elements. We also noticed a fine concrete dust rubbing off, suggesting it may not be fully sealed. Since we live in a mountain climate with frequent rain and snow, it unfortunately wasn’t suitable for our outdoor space. That said, I think this bench would work wonderfully in warmer, drier areas (like Southern California, or other areas that have fair weather). Wayfair’s customer service was excellent and quickly helped us resolve the issue, which we truly appreciate. It worked out great!! I decided not to center it because theb I would have had to add 2x4s in the wall. So I just put it in the corner which worked out because I didnt do a custom niche and that had to be put in between the studs size it all aligned.
