Add a warm flame-style glow to a deck, fence or garden setting with this black solar post cap lantern. The traditional lantern silhouette, clear-sided design and roof-mounted solar panels combine decorative styling with lighting powered by daylight. The light collects solar energy during the day and illuminates after dark without connecting to household wiring. Position it where the panels receive direct sunlight. Before ordering, measure the actual post top and compare it with the mounting base and fitting details; nominal post labels alone do not establish compatibility. Lighting time varies with sun exposure, weather and season.

These are smaller than I had imagined. But they are nice and have a nice flicker like that of a flame would have as a lighted torch. They do let off a decent amount of light as well for a small light. It gives off a cool effect all lined up too, would be cool on like a trail if you have a long driveway or pathway. They took FOREVER to get as well not sure if it was the manufacturer or a delivery issue though.. David. Liverpool, NY. Sat Oct 17 2026
