This is a lovely light that arrived in a beat up box. Upon opening it I noticed shards of glass. I was surprised and disappointed in seeing it in this condition. Normally everything is packaged so carefully. The bubble wrap and the cardboard was flimsy as was the outside box. I’m going to contact customer service and will update my review later.UPDATE Great customer service! They immediately responded and replaced it with a brand new one that arrived in great condition and completely intact. It’s beautiful!. Peggy. Longview, TX. Sat Oct 10 2026

These are smaller than I had imagined. But they are nice and have a nice flicker like that of a flame would have as a lighted torch. They do let off a decent amount of light as well for a small light. It gives off a cool effect all lined up too, would be cool on like a trail if you have a long driveway or pathway. They took FOREVER to get as well not sure if it was the manufacturer or a delivery issue though.. David. Liverpool, NY. Sat Oct 17 2026

The versatile design complements a wide range of architectural styles. Available as a wall lantern, hanging lantern, post lantern, or flush mount light, Newbury comes in a variety of classic finishes with clear beveled glass for a warm, welcoming glow.

The post lamp was everything it was advertised to be, and a perfect match for our existing garage lamps. The only potential issue for prospective self installers... three small holes are required to be drilled in your existing post... for the mounting screws... instructions say to make these 1/16" diameter. I quickly realized this was too small, when the first brass screw sheared off when installing with a screwdriver. I went up in size to 7/64" and the next two installed as intended... fortunately I was able to use one of the old screws to replace the one that had broken. So look at the screw size, and consider a larger drill size for the pilot hole. Great purchase overall.. Alfred. The Villages, FL. Sat Jan 01 2022

It is very nice however hardwiring is not an option for me. The small light that is powered by the solar battery does not put off very much light. It is very dim compared to other solar lights I have on my property. Since I was installing mine on a wood rail I had to find 4 screws that were long enough to fit the base. When I attached the three screws that held the top section onto the base the metal actually split a bit. But it felt secure so I have not reached out to company.. Phyllis. Louisiana. Sun Jun 14 2026

These are really nice. We got the larger ones for our front door and the smaller ones for our garage. we got the outdoor post lantern a few weeks ago and got it up next to the driveway close to the kitchen door, it is great in the evening to sit outside and not have to move around to get a light to come on, we also got a shimmering light to go inside of it, and it looks like one of those old timey post you see in the westerns or old movies where someone had to go around and light up all of the street lights, and the glass being frosted it is just stunning. we love it....
